Interspire’s Email Marketer is fair software, but their support is worse than abysmal. I filed a support request four days ago, and even contacted one of their co-founders, and still haven’t heard back from support. Caveat emptor.

Thanks for the review, I tried them, but ended up getting Omnistar Mailer http://www.omnistarmailer.com this software was easy to use and a much better value and it even had more features.

Not as cheap as hosted solutions, with a setup fee “ONE TIME” fee of $495 — but you HOST the software on your own servers. That gives you HUGE flexibility. So, over the life of the software, it may be cheaper in the long run to pay the upfront one time fee.
